The challenge

Thirty years of Surfinia® means thirty years of stories. From the introduction of the first trailing Petunia from cuttings to becoming a worldwide horticultural icon. The challenge was to bring that rich history together without creating another traditional product catalogue.

The approach

We turned the anniversary into an editorial story. The newspaper combined Surfinia®’s history with iconic imagery, interviews, fun facts, product stories, care tips and the colourful collection itself. Designed as something to explore rather than simply browse, it gave growers, partners, retailers and consumers a tangible piece of the brand’s history.

The result

30 years. One colourful story. A celebratory newspaper that transformed three decades of Surfinia® into a collectible piece of brand storytelling. Part magazine, part catalogue, part anniversary keepsake — and above all, an ode to the flower that changed the Petunia category.
